Responsible for the overall operation of assigned buildings. Utilizes skills to perform complex maintenance, alteration, and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds. Delivers outstanding customer service. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

Have excellent knowledge of various facilities infrastructure equipment/systems. Understand the working of a laboratory environment. Interacts with customers, facilities, and outside vendors. Answers phones and carries emergency cell phone during shift. Assist in parts ordering process. Directs outside vendors as necessary. Support the organizational vision, mission, and objectives. Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met. Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.
