**Job Title: Facilities Technician III (Non RME)** **Job Description.** **Responsibilities** + Perform critical lifts for space-rated hardware. + Provide guidance and direction in the development of lift and rigging plans. + Ensure all lifting and rigging operations comply with safety policies and best practices. + Track, inspect, maintain, and ensure all lifting and rigging equipment is in good working condition. + Conduct mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies, wire harnessing, satellite components, subassemblies, and integration of final vehicle assemblies. + Run functional testing of built hardware, including setup, instrumentation, test execution, and teardown. + Operate and maintain complex automated equipment, including troubleshooting, calibration, documentation, and maintenance. + Identify equipment requirements for planned hardware builds, maintain consumables inventory, and develop procedures and processes accordingly. + Adhere to ESD/EPA, 5s, and Cleanroom procedures. + Work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are 1st shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM, with shifts varying depending on program needs. + Perform tasks requiring standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching. + Lift up to 49lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or equivalency certificate. + Minimum of 3 years experience in performing critical lifts. + At least 1 year of operational experience in aerospace, aviation, or other production environments. + Certified forklift training (or willingness to be trained). + Ability to work with powered lift equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker). + Valid driver's license and ability to meet driver eligibility criteria. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Expert knowledge and certification in rigging and lifting equipment. + Experience in inspection and maintenance of rigging and lifting equipment. + Experience with rigging-related safety measures. + Knowledge of lifting processes, procedures, and work instructions. + Familiarity with aerospace or aviation quality standards. + Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists. + Experience in electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development. + Proficiency in using a PC, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office suite. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. **Work Environment** Work in a fast-paced start-up-like environment that requires standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and performing various physical tasks. Shifts will vary depending on program needs, with estimated 1st shift times from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Be prepared to work overtime and weekends as needed. The role involves working with complex automated equipment and adhering to safety and cleanroom procedures.
