Facilities Technician Sunday to Friday from 10 pm to 6 am (Coyol, Alajuela)

The Facilities Technician will provide routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, equipment, and exterior property grounds. General understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life/safety systems required in performing these duties.

What will you be doing?
Carry out an intensive program of planned preventive maintenance for all company buildings and utilities.
Carry out routine maintenance on all company machinery and equipment including fault finding, problem solving, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
Full, accurate, and timely completion of all maintenance logs, schedules, etc. to comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and company, insurance, and ISO requirements, etc.
Contact external contractors as required and accompany/assist them while on site.
Ensure adequate supplies of spares on site for commonly used parts or those with a long lead time.
Create & continuously update technical files for plant & equipment from liaison with suppliers, operators, or own knowledge, etc.
Carry out all minor mechanical & electrical repairs about buildings and utilities, planned and executed in such a way as to minimize risk or inconvenience to others.
Carry out modifications to workbenches and new equipment as required.
What will you need to be successful
Education:
Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance or Related Career Technician.
Experience:
Less At least 3 years of experience as a technician.
Experience in documentation and GxP.
Experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Controlled environmental industries on Microsoft Windows, Office, and SAP. Read I understand drawings (electrical, control, and mechanical) and technical documents in English.
Wide on hands expertise in HVAC systems, compressed air, RODI systems, Argon, BMS, Fire Station, and electrical systems.
