Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Maintenance Team in the Hackettstown, NJ location. You will be mainly accountable for:Responding to building and grounds maintenance issuesPerforming basic electrical and plumbing maintenanceCompleting facility repairs such as replacing light fixtures, and maintaining exhaust fansPatching and painting as needed

Qualifications for the role

You enjoy performing manual labor tasksYou have 1-3 years of experience in facility and ground maintenanceYou have a high school diploma or equivalent You are at ease communicating in EnglishYou hold a current work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in the USAbility to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functionsAbility to stand for 8 hours dailyComfortable bending, twisting, reachingComfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
