Responsibilities Facility Administrator - Foothills Surgery Center, Boulder Colorado SCA Heath is seeking a Facility Administrator to lead Foothills Surgery Center, a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center serving patients in Boulder and the surrounding communities. In this leadership role you will be responsible for executing the growth strategy, managing P&L performance, and leading overall goal execution for a Surgical Care Affiliates Healthcare (SCAH) facility. This role drives clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and strategic growth while fostering a high-performing team and cultivating strong physician relationships. Key Responsibilities:1. Clinical Quality & Patient Safety + Lead the facility’s commitment to zero patient harm and high-reliability organization (HRO) principles. + Champion clinical excellence by implementing and standardizing quality standards. + Collaborate proactively with physicians to enhance patient care and exceed expectations. + Build, lead, and develop a high-performing clinical team that delivers top-tier patient outcomes. + Partner with key committees and leadership teams to shape clinical policies and strategic responses to community healthcare needs. 2. Leadership & Team Development + Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinical and operational teams. + Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration to drive performance. + Equip teammates with the necessary resources, training, and authority to excel. + Communicate a clear vision and strategy that inspires and aligns the team. + Drive organizational capability by attracting, retaining, and developing top talent. 3. Business Growth & Physician Engagement + Lead top-line growth through strategic service line expansion, physician recruitment, and increased volume. + Develop and execute marketing and outreach programs targeting physicians, medical groups, health system partners, employers, and payers. + Strengthen physician relationships to foster long-term partnerships, trust, and engagement. + Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to enhance clinical, financial, and operational results. + Partner with regional leadership to drive growth initiatives and operational improvements. 4. Operational & Financial Excellence + Own P&L management, ensuring strong financial controls, budgeting, and reporting. + Implement strategic business plans aligned with partnership goals and market dynamics. + Drive operational efficiency and best practices in clinical quality, volume growth, and cost management. + Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards. + Oversee facility management, equipment maintenance, and environmental safety to uphold a high-quality care environment. 5. Administrative & Support Services Oversight + Provide leadership and oversight for medical records, credentialing, admissions, billing, collections, insurance verification, and financial transactions. + Manage resolution of teammate grievances and operational challenges. + Ensure smooth administrative operations that support excellent patient care. Key Qualifications: + Proven experience leading clinical and operational teams in a healthcare setting. + Strong understanding of P&L management, strategic growth, and physician engagement. + Ability to drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and business expansion. + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Experience in healthcare compliance, facility management, and regulatory standards. Qualifications + A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; however, equivalent relevant work experience will be considered. Experience: + 1-3 years of experience in healthcare operations, administration, or leadership. + 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting. Preferred Experience: + Strong preference for candidates with experience in Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC), outpatient facilities, surgical sites, or multi-site healthcare environments. + Experience in P&L management, operational efficiency, and physician engagement is highly desirable. + Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements is a plus.
