Education/Experience

BS in Engineering, Business or related discipline preferredFacility and Equipment Maintenance experience preferredCertification/Licensing in Construction Trades preferred

Essential Functions, Knowledge and Competencies

Good interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lift 50 poundsKnowledge of Project ManagementAbility to effectively negotiate machine specifications and costAbility to effectively coach and develop personnelStrong computer, analytical and organizational skills

Responsibility/Authority

Researches, identifies and negotiates the purchase of new Production Equipment, FacilityModification and Maintenance contractsManages projects related to equipment purchases and facility modificationsResolves scheduling conflicts related to maintenance with other departmentsGenerates preventive maintenance calendars/procedures and schedules maintenance activitiesMonitors facility utility usage and takes action to reduce usage and costStorage and control of equipment records and associated documentsSupports the plant Safety programCoaches employees on job performance and takes the necessary action to improve substandard performanceManages pest control programPrimary administrator for the Maintenance Connection SoftwareOther duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides general supervision of the Equipment and Facility maintenance staff
