What you'll do as a Facility Maintenance Specialist:

Perform maintenance and simple repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodialConduct routine and long-term preventative maintenance on building and equipment systemsMaintaining the schedule of required maintenance and inspection of building equipment and systemsOperate equipment to perform needed repairs and maintenance duties, including forklifts, sweeper scrubbers, and pallet jacks.

Work Experience

The preferred candidate might:

High school diploma or GEDOne year experience in facilities maintenance or repair workComfortable working in unregulated temperatures both indoors and outdoorsBe prepared to complete a forklift training program
