The Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the plant facility management planning/execution and equipment optimum uptime for facilities. As the SME in facility equipment responsible for achieving World-Class maintenance and reliability, continuously driving equipment improvement. Setting culture to be Win with the best team by learning and coaching as a train the trainer and achieve strategic growth goals through driving Lean manufacturing.
This position is part of the Facilities & Maintenance Team and will be located in our Tuas Singapore Manufacturing site.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies, and procedures that enhance productivity and reduce downtime. Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and propose improvements.Provide expert troubleshooting and problem-solving for facilities system such as Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, Cooling/Chilled water distribution, Gas distribution systems, Purified water, Chemical distribution system, Cleanrooms, M&E etc.Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects, upgrades, and renovations. Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors for seamless project execution.Assist in the development and management of the maintenance budget, monitoring expenditures and resource allocation. Identify opportunities for cost savings through improved efficiency and strategic sourcing.Ensure compliance with local regulations, as well as company safety standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.The essential requirements of the job include:
Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Mechanical / Power Engineering/ Facilities Management.
Solid hands-on experience with 5 years and above knowledge in Facility maintenance for manufacturing/ chemical plants.
At least 5 years well versed with Compressed Dry Air (CDA), Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, Cooling/Chilled water distribution, Gas distribution systems, Purified water, Chemical distribution system, Cleanrooms, M&E etc.
Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) / risk assessment for Facility equipment maintenance, spare part management and instrumentation calibration management.
Experience in troubleshooting and technical support, ensuring daily maintenance and facilities issues are rectified and solved to ensure proper plant running, overseeing BMS and rectifying any faults and deviations.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Possessing any relevant Facility management certification
Semiconductor industry experience will be an advantage.
Experience in technical support for PLC, HMI, BMS & SCADA/DCS system
