About the role

The Facility Maintenance Technician is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all components of plant process equipment, HVAC systems and complex hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Performs maintenance/repairs/troubleshooting and installation on the following process plant equipment, but not limited to: pumps, motors, gear drives, shredders and other rotating equipment with an emphasis on seals, bearings and mechanical sealsRemoval and installation of process valvesMetal fabrication and welding skills are a plusMust be proficient in the installation and fabrication of process piping systems, pertaining to threading, welding and soldering.Electrical and instrumentation experience are a plus.When instructed - you will be required to clean, paint and perform labor workAdditional work related to buildings and ground maintenanceHVAC experience is a plusLocal travel required

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma/GEDValid driver’s licenseMust be able to lift 50 lbsProvide some personal tools/list available on request2 years minimum experience in a facility maintenanceMust be able to work in adverse/inclement weather conditions
