KCID Rd., Caldwell, Idaho, United States of America Req #10759 Monday, September 16, 2024 Pay: $25.00/hr. +DOE The Facility Maintenance Specialist will safely maintain, repair, & optimize our warehouse equipment. This includes power equipment, distribution machinery, conveyers, and building structures. This position reports to the Maintenance manager and is expected to operate with minimal supervision. Schedule:40+ hours a week, schedule subject to business needs, including some on-call hours. Some of what you'll do as the Facility Maintenance Specialist: • Work as a team to ensure the facility is clean, safe, and functional. • Ensure the safe operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment. • Monitor and document maintenance schedules, repairs, replacement parts, and compliance records. Adhere to established preventative maintenance schedules. • Maintain organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and other supplies. Responsible for logging time, materials, and other costs. • Interpret and understand specifications and operating/maintenance manuals. • Ensure food product integrity through proper execution of HACCP System. • Lead safety initiatives by proposing policies and assisting in writing procedure manuals and trainings. • Own communication of all appropriate information regarding system operation and maintenance to all department managers and leadership team. • May be required to carry a company provided cell phone for communication. Qualifications & Education: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Technical school education preferred, but not required. • 2+ years of work-related experience with equipment repair and maintenance. • Mechanical troubleshooting experience. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to stay productive and positive with minimal oversight. • The ability to work a flexible schedule, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Additionally, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. • Heavy use of hands and arms to feel, lift, reach, & grip items as needed. • Occasionally lift and/or move heavy objects up to 50 pounds. • Occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, wet, and slippery conditions. Temperature fluctuations in different work areas vary between -20◦F to 100◦F.
