PURPOSE: Ensure buildings, grounds and support systems are maintained to sustain safety goals, production requirements and company, federal, state and local policies and procedures.

 

Starting Pay: $27.14 plus $1.00 shift differential

 

Schedule: 12-hour Night Shift (7pm-7am). Train on days for 90 days.

 

Responsibilities

PURPOSE:   To define the responsibilities and qualifications of a Facility Maintenance Technician. 

 

AUTHORITY: Is hereby given to the employee by the Facility Maintenance Shift Lead, Facility Maintenance Coordinator, or Facility Maintenance Supervisor to carry out the responsibilities and any other duties as directed. Included but not limited to

LOTO de-energized Equipment STOP work Blood-Borne Clean up

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to read and write in EnglishAble to drive and operate a scissor Lift and fork truck Able to perform manual labor tasks as assigned Work In a safe manner in accordance to federal and company policiesMust have knowledge of LOTO and Arc FlashAble to follow federal and company policies and proceduresProven ability to work as a teamAbility to be self motivated and work with minimal supervision Attend department and plant meeting and training Ability to read and interpret machine printsMust have basic computer skillsMust have familiarity with most hand and power tools Must have experience with the following: Electrical (required) Mechanical (required)Pneumatic (optional)Plumbing (optional)HVAC (optional)

 

 

Qualifications

 

High school diploma/GED equivalent.Positive attitude and the ability to work with others.Honest, dependable, and motivated.Good math skills.Good problem solving and analytical skills.Must have good communications skills, written and verbal.Must know how to use basic measuring tools and power tools Have a valid Driver’s license.Mechanical ability.Must provide own hand tools.Forklift certified.Lift certified.Crane certified.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.Ability to work around grease, oils, and solvents without adverse reactions.Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat throughout 12 hr entire shift.Fork truck/ scissor lift certified Ability to work from heights, including ascending/descending laddersAbility to wear all provided personal protective equipmentAbility to work in high noise environment
