**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on our facility. This role involves changing lightbulbs, minor electrical and plumbing tasks, and working on material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks, locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, dismantling machinery, and removing or replacing defective parts. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will inspect buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues, schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures, and perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
+ Change lightbulbs and complete minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
+ Work on material handling equipment.
+ Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
+ Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
+ Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
+ Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues.
+ Schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures.
+ Perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in preventative maintenance.
+ Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
+ Ability to work on material handling equipment.
+ Proficiency in installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.
+ Ability to locate and diagnose problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
+ Skill in dismantling machinery and replacing defective parts.
+ Experience in inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems for issues.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in warehouse operations.
+ Ability to operate a forklift.
+ Experience in loading and unloading tasks.

**Work Environment**
The position requires working Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm, with the expectation to work until the job is done. The work environment involves maintaining and inspecting various facility and mechanical equipment, and performing tasks both indoors and outdoors. Dress code includes appropriate attire for a maintenance role, ensuring safety and comfort while performing duties.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, Hawaii.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $29.95/hr.
