Scope of Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of entire facility. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Job Summary: Provide direct supervision and managerial oversight necessary for the efficient and profitable management of a pharmacy.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
Assist in the development of an annual store operating budget, and operate the store within the budgetary guidelinesResponsible for the hiring, development, performance review, and disciplinary actions of store personnel Responsible for insuring all employees are adequately trained to perform dutiesResponsible for assignment of duties and scheduling of staff to insure payroll and productivity budget guidelines are met Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines Manage and balance the store inventory to insure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needsInsures in-store technology is being used to its fullest potential to insure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span. Communicate corporate goals to all store personnel, through weekly store meetingsInsure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees alwaysInsure all Loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss PreventionInsure all corporate marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implementedAssist in the collections and management of all Accounts Receivables, including Third Party, Compensation, and Kinney House ChargeInsure all receiving and handling requirements for Kinney warehoused merchandise and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) merchandise are followedInsure all Standards of Presentations (SOP), and Merchandise presentation guidelines are implemented and maintained in a timely fashionInterface with various auditors, inspectors, vendors and outside agencies as neededInsure the physical plant is maintained to protect customer and employee safety.Submit required reports, cashups, timesheets and other requested data to corporate on timeInsures all store employees follow all state and federal guidelines regarding the sale of alcohol and tobaccoOptimize cost management in line with script countsPerform all store clerk duties as neededOversight responsibilities to insure facilities are compliant with all state and federal regulations and requirementsResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
Preferred: 3 or more years previous experience in Merchandising, Store Management or related field
Required (Vermont Employees):
Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Required (Ohio Employees):
Registered with the State of Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
