Facility Manager

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Facility/Maintenance Manager to join the leadership team for our new location opening in Glendale, AZ!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility/Maintenance Manager will be responsible to oversee all building related activities. Preserving the good condition of AIKG infrastructure and ensuring the facility is safe and functioning well. The Facilities Manager is responsible to oversee the utility personnel as well as interact with the kart mechanics team. The Facilities Manager must have the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management, staff and vendors. The Facilities Manager must also act as a leader in the development and motivation of staff while creating an environment that encourages ownership and accountability. The site Facilities Manager is expected to maintain the quality and ethical standards set by AIKG while representing the Andretti brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead team members with integrity and purposeAlways support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection; Achieving Excellence”Manage and execute painting and patching projectsManage and execute basic plumbing and electrical projectsManage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety guidelinesPerform building analysis and forecastingDetermine structural needs by inspecting different aspects of the building weeklySupervise the design and upkeep of the facilities grounds and landscapingLog and track all inspection dates and any maintenance completed on equipment in the buildingCoordinate intra-office movesCheck completed work performed by outside vendors and contractorsRespond to facility and equipment alarms and system failuresAdvise on and monitor energy efficiency effortsCoordinate and develop key performance goals for functions and direct reports.Work closely with general managers to oversee all aspects of site operations of entire facility, including staffing, training, employee relations, repair and maintenance, and organizationEnsures site reviews are within acceptable standardsContinuously promote safety and sanitation throughout the facilityEnsures the highest level of quality and standards

Facility Manager Qualifications

Required:

Eligible to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of ageFundamental skills in painting and patchingAn understanding of the fundamentals of plumbing and electrical projectsStrong written & verbal communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational skillsThe desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workdayWork varying days, nights, holidays and weekends

Preferred and great to have:

Two years of Facility Management experience in high volume environment.Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staff and managementWillingness to work days, nights, weekends and holiday.Basic understanding of computer systems and Microsoft programs.Ability to manage and work within a team-orientated businessFinancial analysis and assessment skillsStrong written and verbal skillsOrganizational skillsWorking knowledge of cost controlsStrong training and development background
