Job Description:

Broadcom is a dynamic company with an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Facility Management and seeks an opportunity to directly contribute to the company's success. Broadcom is recruiting a Facility Manager to lead our Northern Europe portfolio in a high profile and high paced environment. This position will be responsible for delivering day to day building operations, third party contract management, capital / expense project management, strategic planning and key stakeholder interface.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 15 years of related experience and/or training. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

English fluency including the ability to read, write and present.Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values;Proven leadership of third party O&M Facility engineering providers;Excellent communications skills and ability to effectively interact with end users and executive leadership; Excellent organization and advanced project management skills;Experience in financial management and identifying cost savings related to facilities management;Proven ability to build and sustain high-functioning, cohesive teams;Ability and willingness to engage at a hands on level to help collaboratively solve facility related issuesProven experience leading or partnering with Hospitality Teams, EH&S, Physical Security, Occupancy Planning, Leasing Administration and Procurement.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Facility/Project Management certification and Advanced Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Degree preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports and presentations using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, end users and/or top management. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and user groups to take desired action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires in-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial terms and principles. Prepares complex financial/business analysis. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing semiconductor real estate portfolio. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Ability to use work order system. Working knowledge of architectural, electrical, and mechanical systems. Working knowledge of leases, contracts and related documents. Experience with M&A activity and production/fab environments highly desired.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company
