We are seeking an experienced and strategic Facilities Manager to oversee and optimize our facilities operations across Chile, Argentina, and Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-site facilities management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate diverse cultural and regulatory environments. This role is crucial in ensuring operational excellence, cost-effectiveness, and compliance across our regional facilities.
Location: Puerto Madero, Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Work model: On site.
Contract Type: Indefinite-term.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic facilities management plans for operations in Chile, Argentina, and Colombia, aligning with overall business objectives.
Oversee all aspects of facilities operations, including maintenance, security, space planning, and workplace services across multiple sites in the three countries.
Manage and optimize facilities-related budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
Lead and develop local facilities teams in each country, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local leadership, employees, and external vendors.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and corporate policies across all facilities.
Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices to improve operational efficiency across the region.
Oversee major facilities projects, including renovations, relocations, and new office setups in the three countries.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts on a regional level, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring service quality.
Implement and monitor sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate environmental goals.
Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, identify improvement areas, and maintain consistency across locations.
Collaborate with other departments (HR, IT, Finance) to ensure integrated support for business operations.
Develop and maintain emergency and business continuity plans for each location.
Provide regular reports and analytics on facilities performance, costs, and key metrics to senior management.
Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in facilities management, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a multi-site, regional role.Proven experience managing facilities operations in Latin America, preferably including Chile, Argentina, and Colombia.Strong understanding of local regulations and business practices in the three countries.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures.Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost optimization.Proficiency in facilities management software and data analysis tools.Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale facilities projects.Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.Knowledge of sustainable practices in facilities management.Willingness to travel frequently between the three countries.Location:
