Our client, a leader in data center operations, is seeking a Facility Manager - Critical Environments to join their team. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing facilities management and ensuring the continuous operation of data center systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Facility Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $50/hour
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure maintenance and continuous operation of all data center systems, including fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cabling, lighting, and temperature control.
+ Manage and develop a critical environments team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
+ Identify maintenance objectives and incorporate them into a documented plan, including preventive and reactive maintenance.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines related to data center infrastructure.
+ Oversee CAPEX and OPEX planning for infrastructure upgrades, repairs, safety, and modifications.
**Qualifications**
+ Hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility, including UPS systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Seven to ten years of engineering experience in data center operations.
+ Five to seven years of supervisory experience.
+ Knowledge of various manual trades such as carpentry and electromechanical repair.
