Facility Manager
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Facility Manager at our Irvine, California location. The job function involves overseeing the operational aspects of our facilities, with a special focus on the ability to communicate in the Korean language. Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily operations of our facilities to ensure a smooth and efficient functioning. • Communicate effectively with our Korean speaking staff and clients, acting as a bridge between management and these stakeholders. • Maintain the condition of the infrastructure and ensure that it meets health and safety standards. • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity, etc.) and refurbishments. • Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs. • Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors. • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc. • Allocate office space according to needs. Requirements • Proficient in the Korean language, both written and spoken • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field • Proven experience in facility management or relevant position • Comprehensive knowledge of facility management practices and processes • Excellent understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and HVAC • Strong skills in project management and supervision • Demonstrable ability to use facility management software and platforms • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently • Familiarity with environmental health and safety standards • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions • Proficiency in Office Suite and facility management software.
