Facility Security Officer

The role of Facility Security Officer at Desert Diamond Arena is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the Arena’s guests, team members and assets at all times while on first, second or third shift

Job Responsibilities:

Conducts patrols for the building on a regular basisRespond to all safety and security calls in a professional and timely mannerUsing excellent customer service skills to interact with Arena Patrons, Vendors and Employees in a courteous and professional mannerComplete all assigned tasks within the guidelines and deadlines set by Security Managers and SupervisorsComply with all legal and ethical instructions given by the Security Managers and SupervisorsComply with and adhere to the Department’s performance, conduct and attendance standardsAdhere to the Security Department’s prime directivesExhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on dutyInvestigate incidents and compile information for official reportsOther duties as deemed necessary or as directed

Qualifications:

A minimum education level of Highschool Diploma or its equivalencyMinimum of 0-2 years work experienceMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to represent the Security Department in an exemplary mannerAbility to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without the loss of efficiency or composureAbility to maintain guests, team members and company confidentialityAbility to effectively perform in crisis and work under pressure without the loss of composureAbility to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve relevant informationAbility to interact effectively and calmy with angry or emotional patrons during intensely aggravated circumstances
