We're seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) \/ Office Administrator to join our Alexandria team. This role is essential for managing our security program and ensuring compliance with federal regulations, all while providing critical administrative support to our office.\n
Position Overview: As the FSO, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Security Program, ensuring adherence to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable regulations. In your role as Office Administrator, you will handle various office management tasks, maintain client relations, and support project-related activities.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n\nImplement and manage the office's Security Program, including processing personnel security clearances and ensuring compliance with security protocols.\nProvide training and briefings on security practices to office staff and project teams.\nCollaborate with our corporate FSO to maintain security consistency across all offices.\nManage office supplies, equipment maintenance, and administrative functions to support daily operations.\nAssist project managers with document preparation and coordination of project-related tasks.\n\n
Requirements:\n\nMust possess or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance and be willing to undergo a polygraph.\nFamiliarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) is required; certification in Industrial Security Management is a plus.\nA 2-year degree is required, with a 4-year degree preferred.\nA minimum of 3 years of office experience in a professional environment, preferably in an architectural or engineering setting.\nStrong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Ability to learn and apply new software.\n\n
