Title:     Mgr Facility Security Systems

Job Summary:

This position is primarily focused on and responsible for providing support to the Global Security team, all business units, and to the Tyson facilities both domestic and international in the electronic physical security space, such as cameras, monitoring, video management, access control systems, etc.. In this role, the Global Security Manager will be responsible for:

Maintaining, and writing electronic physical plans and policyAligning locations with physical, facility and plant security policies and proceduresEstablish and maintain an electronic security and access control training program for the global security team that can also be disseminated to all locations.Assist in developing and managing programs that will be leveraged by the Global Security team and other Tyson Business units in support of minimum-security standards for all Tyson locations.Provide risk assessment and mitigation using security site surveys focused on uses of technology and systems integration.Assist with executive protection and event protection as needed.Perform security related analytics.Assist leadership as needed with security related functions.Serve as the primary liaison with IT to ensure continual collaboration and coordination between Security and ITCultivate and maintain effective liaison with relevant external entities, such as integrators, manufactures, and other vendors relative to the electronic security segment.Assist with investigations as needed.Collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external business partners.  Educate leaders on security and IT concepts and technology.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study preferred or equivalent industry experience.Experience: 5+ years of experience managing, or work dedicated to video and access control system management in the public or private sector or a combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Computer Skills: Above average computer skills and a working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint is recommended. Working knowledge and prior experience in using a video management systems and mercury-based access control platform.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.Skills: Thorough understanding of corporate security processes and security industry best practices.Experience developing processes to enhance security measures and measure effectiveness of current systems related directly to access control and video systems.Extensive experience in security system design and application of video and access control systems.Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members.Ability to draft concise and well-written reports.Experience in writing of specifications and standards.Ability to work with complex teams. Experience working in, mentoring, developing, training and multi-member teams.Willingness to be on-call 24/7 as needed to respond to company-related security incidents and to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
