Job Highlights:This Opportunity:The Facility Services Technician will develop, initiate, and maintain a proactive system for preventive maintenance of facilities, and equipment to ensure a safe, desirable environment and efficient operation of all Monarch facilities.What You'll Do:• Ensure that all work performed meets all applicable codes and regulations required by agency and governmental entities.
• Obtain all necessary permits required before work is performed.
• Ensure a safe environment for people served and staff by performing routine and emergency tasks and by performing preventive maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
• Assist with the relocation and storage of agency equipment and furniture as approved.
• Purchase necessary items for preventative maintenance of facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
• Complete reports, assessments, evaluation, and paperwork as required or requested for safety compliance.
• Complete all reports, assessments, evaluations, and paperwork for service work orders requested and approved.
• Complete and deliver of time sheets reflecting correct information for billing/payment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of statutes, regulations and policies of governing areas in which job responsibilities are performed.
• Interact and communicate effectively with staff, people served, family members, guardians, peers, professionals, co-workers and supervisors.
• Respond promptly to issues or complaints.
• Modify, repair, replace, and /or dispose of broken or damaged equipment.
• Repair, replace, or modify facility to meet regulations and maintain operational needs.
• Ensure assigned projects meet quality and cost objectives.
• Drive and travel as required.
• Assist people receiving services with knowledge of emergency procedures and personal safety. Utilize effective judgment when dealing with safety issues, including but not limited to fire safety by conducting drills, inspecting equipment, and practicing safety procedures in the community.
• Assist new staff and/or current staff with mentoring and training.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements to perform job functions.
• Completes all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
