One of our consumer product good clients is looking for a black seal certified technician to ensure the safe, dependable, and efficient operation of the facility's boiler, refrigeration, and utility equipment. They will assist with operational projects within maintenance, operational & prevent maintenance skill sets to resolve issues and maintain equipment functioning. Responsible for typical Steam Boiler operation (Black Seal certification required) as an energy manager, but also supporting extra responsibilities that best serve the interests of the facility. Typical duties include of water chemistry, general maintenance, rounds and paperwork/documentation. Other responsibilities include inventory management, maintenance assistance, cost reduction programs, training, and the management of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety rules and procedures, as well as regulatory bodies like OSHA, ASME, and NFPA. Capable of working independently to start/stop equipment and has the requisite troubleshooting abilities to do so.
