Location Profile:
Headquartered in Irvine, CA, Shur-Lok manufactures fastening systems with superior locking devices for critical requirements including engine module assembly, structural assembly, rotor blade attachment, and aircraft engine shaft and spindle applications. Operations at the Irvine location include CNC Machining, CNC Waterjet Cutting, Laser Marking, Heat Treating, NDT, and EDM.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Familiarity with performing routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure compliance with all Company & Safety Policies. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules.Provide support for facility-related projects and renovations.Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.Perform general cleaning and upkeep of facilities.Ensure that all maintenance tools and equipment are in good working condition.Assist with emergency repairs and respond to urgent maintenance requests.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient facility operations.Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar role. Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, woodwork, drywall, masonry installations, painting, and assembly. Keep the interior/exterior of mechanical equipment clean and in good repair. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints in English.Safely operates facilities equipment such as power tools, hoists, cranes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Housekeeping and organization as required, as well as other duties as requested by the manager, ensuring that all safety requirements are met.Limited construction/installation of equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (35 lbs.) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Knowledge of safety regulations. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts include 1st, 2nd & 3rd and schedule may include weekends.Related Experience Professional or Recreational (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
