Factory Compatibility Testing (FCT) Systems Engineer
RiverTech, an Akima company, is hiring a Factory Compatability Testing Systems (FCT) Engineer to support the DSLM contract in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The FCT Engineer will be responsible for Maintaining and operating the SCN transportable systems, which perform network Telemetry, Tracking and Commanding (TT&C) worldwide and provide evaluation of spacecraft TT&C compatibility at various factory locations. Provide support to the DSLM FCT team to perform the efforts that comprise a successful FCT. These include pre-FCT planning, FCT execution, and post-FCT analysis and reporting. **Responsibilities** + Ensure the transportable systems are ready for transport within 24 hours after deployment notification and be operational within 24 hours after arrival at the deployment site. + Support Factory Compatibility Testing of satellite assets at the factories with a transportable SCN asset (Tractor Trailer). + Configure, operate and maintain assigned systems during testing and maintenance activities. + Support the pre-FCT planning efforts to develop the FCT Mission Plan. + Perform Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities. + Prepares daily activity log entries during testing and support testing after action items. + Performs all required systems administration on mission related equipment. + Provide on-the-job training to trainees as assigned or directed. + Performs other collateral duties as assigned or directed. + 25-50% Travel required to testing location. **Qualifications** + Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, or higher. + Must be a US Citizen. + Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge when positioning a tractor trailer. + Must be able to climb high ladders, work on elevated platforms and antennas. + Must be able to perform strenuous physical work to include walking, lifting, pulling loads, bending, kneeling, sitting and reaching overhead. + Must possess strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. + Must be able to read, write and clearly speak English. + Must be familiar with the use of and be able to operate electronic test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, and data analyzers. + Position may require additional government certifications, as necessary. **Desired Qualifications:** + Associate degree in Electronics, or equivalent experience. **Pay Range** $83,000-85,000 **Benefits** Regular - The company offers a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and a range of other voluntary benefits.
