Performance Improvement Engineer’s job is to make observations and use systematic approach to identify performance issues, evaluate processes and human behavior to improve productivity.
This professional is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals. This will be delivered by analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and quality. Success in the role will be achieved by taking action in delivering results while building relationships with internal RC teams and leading collaboration efforts aimed to identify, define, and maintain initiatives that measurably improve the relevant indicators.
In order to be effective in this role, the desired candidate needs to have previous hands-on experience cooperating with various on-site teams in TPM implementation initiatives and should have natural people empowering skills. Another important competencies are well developed analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to lead other without authority.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Supports and supervises continues improvement process through analytical and improvement tools (PDCA, Kaizen, DMAIC, Sig Sigma, etc.) to generate proposals for waste-reduction & improvement initiatives and ensure KPI improvement in short- and long-term perspective;Follow up and analyze results to define and complete actions to close the gaps and escalate blocking points;Using CI methodology, perform loss analysis to identify key projects to reach the targets define by the SLT (Site Leadership Team) including DIB initiatives (Do It Best);According to Education&Training cycle and methodologies, contribute to the site capability building plan by identifying key skills gaps;Training and coaching multi-disciplinary and improvement teams to deliver sustainable results, helping to support the development of their CI and TPM capability;Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in continuous improvement, engaging and working in partnership with all levels of the factory operations teams;Drive a Continuous Improvement culture with pace and impact on sustainable profitable growth through the application of Lean / Continuous methodology;Challenge existing processes in manufacturing operations to generate improvements.What are we looking for?
Min 3-year Degree in Engineering, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, gained preferably in FMCG / automotive company;Practical knowledge of lean tools and experience with TPM implementation (2 years+);Previous experience being a TPM pillar lead would be a great advantage;Proven track record in analyzing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and quality;Skilled in providing trainings and empowering employees to identify and solve problems;Hands-on experience cooperating and coaching technical teams and engineers;Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop long term, effective and influential business relationships with key stakeholders;Great listening and influencing skills as well as change management abilities;Good understanding of the business needs;Ability to use adequate problem-solving techniques;Fluent command of Polish and at least conversional level of English.What can you expect from Mars/RC?
