Your Role:
Overall responsibility for all reinsurance activities across the P&C business in Australia and New Zealand. The program of technical and analytical support post placement of outwards Reinsurance programs.
Your Responsibilities:
Monitoring premium collections and reporting to A&NZ Management Completing special projects and assignment related to reinsurance issues Assisting Finance with reconciliation issues, working across Operations, CBS and the Underwriting teams Working directly with the Underwriters to provide quotations and recommendations on reinsurance requirements Provide support and assistance with Facultative Reinsurance peer audits Interacting with all level of management through the company as well as retail brokers when required, reinsurance brokers, reinsurer markets and industry bodies Participate in Country Reinsurance Committee meetings Prepare strategy papers for A&NZ Management as required Maintain oversight and responsibility for the use of appropriate Fac Certs Degree qualified or ANZIIF QualificationsBroad based insurance experience with some exposure to Reinsurance in past three yearsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyse and disseminate technical and/or complex information to clients at all levelsBroad knowledge of local markets and future growth potentialEffective leadership skillsCommunication and negotiation skillsBroad knowledge of all insurance products, specialising in reinsuranceWe offer you the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and agile environment where continuous development is encouraged throughout your career, both locally and globally.
