Description of Job Who You Are As a full-time faculty member in the Manufacturing Department, you will provide instruction in all levels of manufacturing, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You will be teaching within one of four programs that is located in FRCC’s 27,000 square foot Center for Integrated Technology (CIM) training students for employment as industrial maintenance and industry technicians. You will work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills. As a faculty member you will act as a mentor for the part-time instructors and serve as a representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College. This position is expected to begin in either Summer or Fall 2025, based on the availability of the selected candidate.
