Responsibilities consist of the coordination of annual processes, including Faculty Review and Advancement ( FRA ), Tenure-line Faculty Review, Career-line Faculty Review, and Career-line, Adjunct, and Visiting Faculty Reappointment. This position also creates and maintains faculty files based on the policies of the University and guidelines of Faculty Administration. Additionally, this position works with School of Medicine Human Resources for faculty leave protocols and ensures compliance with SOM policies, and assists with faculty recruitment, onboarding, and credentialing administrative procedures. **Responsibilities** **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** 1. Coordinate and manage the yearly Faculty Review and Advancement ( FRA ) process, including attending, facilitating and recording meetings. 2. Maintain and update files and reports for adjunct faculty, including coordination of the annual contract renewal process. 3. Ensure adherence to University policies and School of Medicine guidelines. 4. Other recruitment, faculty affairs and administrative duties as assigned. 5. Candidate must have the ability to work independently, multitask and maintain confidentiality. 6. Initiate and follow through on the entire new faculty appointment process for the Department of Pathology. 7. Work with Department leadership to administratively support faculty search and recruitment activities and committees. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required. **EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT : 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience.
