McGovern Medical SchoolatUTHealth HoustonDepartment of Neurologyis seeking an experienced neurologist at the Assistant Professor rank or higher, tenure-track (depending on qualifications), in our Multiple Sclerosis/Neuroimmunology clinical division. The candidate will join a busy and growing subspecialty practice and be a part of a dynamic department with all neurological specialties represented. In addition to our busy outpatient practice, we have a strong program in clinical trials and ongoing basic research efforts in immunology and imaging. We offer an academic environment with ample opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
**Position Key Accountabilities:**
Clinical responsibilities would include up to five days of clinic a week. Clinical efforts will be adjusted based on extramural funding sources, clinical trial funding, educational efforts, and administrative efforts, depending on the candidate. Teaching opportunities are available. This position is affiliated with McGovern Medical School, the 6th largest medical school in the nation, a robust Neurology residency program, and a Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship program.
**Qualifications:**
+ ACGME-accredited neurology residency
+ Fellowship in related areas
+ Active board-certifications
+ Licensed in the state of Texas (or eligible to be licensed).
