The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology seeks an Assistant Professor. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should have a demonstrated track record of leadership and excellent communication skills and be expected to sustain an outstanding, extramurally supported research program. These candidates should have a proven track record of cutting-edge clinical and translational research. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level should have at least 3-5 years of faculty experience. Will be responsible for the clinical care of cancer patients and committed to developing an academic career in clinical and translational research. Must be board-certified in Oncology. The salary and benefits will be commensurate with the level of experience. The candidate will be expected to engage in and learn as PI or Site PI interventional and/or non-interventional basic science, translational, and clinical research projects and trials related to breast and neuro-oncology. Will see patients in the Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Magee, and as assigned and will participate in weekly disease team meetings and other activities as designated by the Division Chief.
