University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Psychiatry: Psychiatry: Psychology **Salary Range or Pay Grade** $101,650 - $253,865 **Description** The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a licensed psychologist to join and provide leadership for our growing specialty program as the Director of University Mental Health Practice (UMHP). Housed within the Department of Psychiatry’s Collaborative Care and Wellness Division, UMHP’s mission is to provide collaborative, evidence-based behavioral health services to patients requiring specialized approaches, such as individuals coping with chronic pain, trauma, OCD, and treatment-resistant depression, or to patients seeking a private-practice model of care. The Director of UMHP will work closely with the Division leadership to help grow this service in a sustainable manner. We have established partnerships with numerous medical and surgical specialty services throughout our hospital system and encourage the development of new collaborations related to the candidate’s area of interest. Our faculty members are actively engaged in scholarship and teaching, and the successful candidate will have opportunities for involvement with psychology training as well as interprofessional education (i.e. medical students, residents, fellows, and other medical/surgical clinicians). The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience and one or more identified area of expertise, experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and a developing program of scholarship. The candidate will have protected administrative time and is expected to provide clinical services and contribute to the training of health professionals. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology and be immediately eligible for licensure in New York. Highly competitive salary and benefits package available.
