The Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence amp Security ARLIS a University Affiliated Research Center UARC under the UMD Vice President of Research VPR ARLIS seeks to hire an Information Science Specialist to support the Acquisition and Industrial Security AampIS Mission Area We seek talented professionals who can work with a team to support the research construction implementation test documentation and maintenance of socio technical solutions that provide highly impactful capabilities for the special operations and intelligence community Specifically much of our work focuses on policy and implementation relating to manufacturing data and knowledge engineering model based systems engineering digital supply chains and library science The Information Science Specialists responsibilities include Assessing and evaluating requirements for records management Developing written reports and briefings on records management for the Office of the Secretary of Defense OSD the Services Air Force Army Navy and other DoD stakeholders Supporting the development and implementation of national and DoD wide policy guidance and training on classification and declassification management
