Lenovo’s quality team is currently seeking an experienced customer quality engineer to work with our Lenovo desktop and notebook devices. In this position you will be performing failure analysis on customer defects, providing issue resolution and implementing future product improvements.
Responsibilities:
Perform failure analysis of product defectsDrive defect resolution with product ownersDrive future product improvementsPerform onsite customer investigation as neededProvide mentorship to junior engineersBasic Requirements:
5+ years of Quality or Customer Service Management experience 5+ years of Analog and digital circuit debug knowledge5+ years of PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degreeExperience with debug equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, multi-meter, etc.Experience with material analysis equipment like X-ray, SEM, FITR Spectrometer, etc.Bilingual English / Chinese or French or GermanStrong analytical, problem solving and strategic abilitiesStrong verbal and written communicationStrong attention to detailFlexibility to work some evening hours as neededAbility to travel both domestically and internationally as neededTeam player attitude with the ability to work proactively & autonomously#LI-DB1
