The Failure Analysis Engineer role involves will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective troubleshooting methods for systems, software, and equipment, and for proposing and implementing solutions for critical issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a healthy inventory of repair or manufacturing processes.
What a typical day looks like:
Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in design of methos of failure analysis, testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.Directs and coordinate the strategies of debug the fail product of the test process.Defines conditions and procedures under which The technicians are to be conducted and Indicators and phases of Debug Process.Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation or coding issues.Evaluates and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problem-solving techniques.Resolves test yield problems by performing examination of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
