FAIR HOUSING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALISTThe Justice, Workforce, Preparedness & Community Development group works to improve the conditions of America's most at-risk populations—reaching out directly to the populations in need, as well as providing strategic consulting support to housing and human services agencies throughout the United States. As a Fair Housing Communications Specialist within the Community Development Business Portfolio you will be an integral part of a team at ICF that supports the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) programs that support Fair Housing professionals. The technical assistance and training support goes to agencies who serve the housing needs in communities across the country. As a Senior Communications Specialist at ICF, you will be essential in advancing our brand and outreach efforts. This role involves crafting compelling communications, designing impactful graphics, and executing strategic marketing campaigns. You will work closely with various teams to enhance our brand presence and engage with our audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting technical assistance engagements on efforts related to fair housing, affordable housing and community development.Advancing our brand and outreach efforts.Crafting communications, designing graphics, and executing strategic marketing campaigns.Contributing to the development and deployment of communications, outreach, and training resources, including case studies, webinars, in-person events, and other communications.Ensuring that all work performed is high quality, on-budget, and delivered promptly.Supporting logistics and materials for small and large webinars and conferences.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design or other relevant fieldMinimum of 1 year supporting Communications for Fair Housing programsMinimum 5 proven experience in social justice, communications, graphic design, and marketing roles.A Master’s Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years related proven experience in social justice, communications, graphic design, and marketing roles. will be accepted in lieu of Bachelors and 5.A minimum of 9 years of experience in social justice, communications, graphic design, and marketing roles. related work experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelors and 5.PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).Experience with social media management, data analytics and digital marketing tools.Relevant experience in social justice, fair housing, or community development.Strong writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Creative thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities.Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and efficiently meet deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience with video editing and production.Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices.Familiarity with web design and basic HTML/CSS.Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with program participants.Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations.Experience with developing and implementing project/team processes.Commitment to delivering high-quality work.#JWPCD

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$63,511.00 - $107,968.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
