Description Responsibilities: + Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody, domestic violence, adoption, and more. + Manage all aspects of family law practice, including document drafting, research, and negotiation, in coordination with legal support staff. + Attend court hearings, meetings, and depositions. Prepare and represent clients in negotiations, mediations or court trials as needed. + Compile evidence and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements. + Analyze the probable outcome of cases using knowledge of legal precedents. + Maintain a high standard of professional ethics while working closely and confidentially with clients. + Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on the progress of cases. + Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing updates and advice as needed. Requirements Requirements: + A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. + Licensed to practice law in Minnesota. + Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Family Law Attorney. + Excellent negotiation and communication skills. + Strong ability to work and make decisions independently, as well as working within a team. + Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to develop a strategic approach to cases. + In-depth understanding of legislation, court rules, and procedures relevant to family law. + Strong organization and time management abilities, with high attention to detail. + Willingness to continue to learn and grow professionally, staying updated on changes in law and legal practices.
