Family Nurse Practitioner
A Family Nurse Practitioner role in Portland, Oregon is now available through Adecco Healthcare and Life Science. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as a provider of primary health care services who coordinates and refers clients for health care and health education. This is a temp-hire position starting in October 2024. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. No weekends or nights will be required. The hourly pay range is $62.50-76.92/hr. – depending on your level of experience. **ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:** + Provide comprehensive primary health care. + Coordinate patient care with other providers and agencies and advocate for client within health care systems. + Provide services in prenatal integrated health care of high-risk chemically dependent pregnant patients, in consultation and/or collaboration with obstetrical health care provider. + Perform initial and ongoing health risk assessments and counseling for high-risk lifestyle behaviors and/or familial diseases: ongoing drug and alcohol assessment and HIV screening. + Encourage family participation in health care of patient as deemed appropriate by patient and other clinic providers. + Develop and document plan of care and outcomes evaluations. + Coordinate with contractual pharmacy, primary care providers, hospitals, and laboratories for required diagnostic procedures and delivery/births. + Provide health education to individual patients as needed, such as birth control, safer sex, and high-risk behavior and health consequences. + Provide staff development education as requested by Clinic Administrator. + Engage in ongoing education and specialized training in order to maintain a high quality of care to Clinic’s patient population. + Attend meetings, as required. + Participate in on-call service coverage, as needed. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Evidence of experience sufficient for successful performance of duties noted above. + Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients, the community, and other staff members. + Work collaboratively with clients, other staff, team members, and to treat everyone with respect and dignity at all times. + Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered a plus. **EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE (includes licenses or certifications):** + Nurse Practitioner, unencumbered licensure with State of Oregon as Certified Nurse Practitioner and prescriptive authority. + Basic Life Support within introductory period. **Pay Details:** $62.50 to $76.92 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
