Position Summary:
Center For Family Services is seeking an energetic, outgoing, compassionate Bilingual Family Partner position for the Building Bridges Family Success Center. Family Success Centers are community-based, family-centered neighborhood gathering places where community residents can go for family support, information, and services. Family Success Centers serve families in safe and supportive home-like environments designed to strengthen the family unit, build relationships, enrich the lives of community members, and make families and neighborhoods stronger. The Family Partner is a crucial member of the program and is the first point of contact at our center for community participants. Required schedule is Mon, Wed, Fri 9am-5pm and Tues, Thurs 11am-7pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Family Partner is friendly, confident, compassionate and capable and has experience and comfortability both in customer service and in working with diverse populations. They treat colleague and family members as individuals with respect and dignity as they provide direct social services to the families at the Family Success Center. The Family Partner assists participants with various needs and connects them to area resources and also facilitates monthly workshops to educate and support families. They complete progress notes according to the programs requirements and maintain case files. This individual is part of a team that supports families with respect, assists families in getting needed services, offers programs for people of all backgrounds and languages, and helps families identify and build on their own strengths.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
At least two years' experience working with families and a diverse population
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Current driver's license with a good driving record of at least three years
Vehicle with current insurance and registration
