FAMILY PROGRAM SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a FAMILY PROGRAM SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD1743000 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 103 (Volunteer Chapter). Responsibilities As a Family Program Specialist (Title 32), GS-0301-09, you will review, evaluate and analyze obligations and expenditures. Assist management in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided. Provide guidance and instructions to subordinate organizations for proper management of programs. Based on budget guidance received from higher headquarters, develop an annual budget for programs. Research and interpret personnel and training regulations, DA Pam's, Circulars, and NGB guidance. Assist management in preparing guidelines and instructions to MSCs. Develop and prepare current year program spreadsheets. Formulate and review all Annual Funding Guidance/Programs (AFG/AFP) ensuring obligation authority is not exceeded and budget adjustments are properly staffed. Develop, collect, and maintain various historical data used to initiate planning, programming, and execution of current and future training and operations programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E6 through E7 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months or 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. Education Education Requirement: None Substitution of Education to qualify for this position is not available.
