Family Services and Engagement Manager Head Start

JOB SUMMARY:
The Family Services and Engagement Manager is responsible to implement and ensure compliance of all Head Start Performance standards related to family engagement and family services workers. This is completed through routine monitoring of digital and hard copy files, Child Plus data entry, and monthly supervision meetings with Family Advocates and Collaborative Family Liaisons. The Family Services and Engagement Manager must hold monthly family service meetings, collaborate with Education Managers to hold monthly Case Review meetings, and collaborate with Little Learners Managers to hold monthly collaborative Case Review meetings. The Family Services Manager is responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of the Family Advocates and the Collaborative Family Liaisons and the monitoring and coordination of family engagement efforts. Must provide mandated reporter training to all new staff. Must collaborate with other TVCCA programs and community partners to keep communication consistent and be part of various committees to promote these collaborations. Together with other members of the management team; be involved with the day to day operations of the Head Start Preschool and Early Head Start program, in a manner consistent with the agency.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS :
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, or related field, plus four years related work experience, including one year of experience in direct supervision of staff.
· Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and access to reliable, insured transportation.
· Obtain a physical exam (Statement of Good Health) with T.B. test upon hire
· Strong communication skills
· Strong computer skills
