Family Stabilization Supervisor

Th i s pos i t i on supervises the Resource Coordinator and the Family Assessment Specialist. The Family Stabilization Supervisor also provides support in Clinical cases where the CPIs need consultation on substance abuse, behavioral health, and mental health. The Family Stabilization Supervisor is responsible for monitoring deliverables and program outcomes, providing clinical expertise, consultation, and team oversight to ensure family recommendations are based on identified need, strength based and according to family capabilities. Technical/Functional Expectations: Safety Planning - Essential Function: This position works with the CPI team to link directly to additional supports that can be offered to make an effective Safety Plan. Some of these supports include the use of other immediate services such as the Mobile Response Team, the Safety Management Team and additional child welfare certified staff with specific expertise in safety plan monitoring. This position ensures interim safety plan and follow up development to protect clients and agency's best interests by reviewing current present danger plans and helping make the final safety determination for the families served on the team. Conducts Safety/Risk Assessments - Essential Function: This position supports the CPI team in making healthy risk decisions that would otherwise result in a removal of the children for the home. This positions review intake reports received by DCF daily to assess opportunities to assist the CPI team in the areas of mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse. O u t re ach and Collaboration - Essential Function: Participate in weekly collaborative meetings with providers and DCF to review progress of the assigned cases as well as discuss opportunities for the team to be included on existing cases.
