Job Description Bee Sweet Citrus, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to become our Farm Senior Accountant and assist in all areas of farm accounting, including budget preparation and performing reviews of accounts . This position will contribute to Bee Sweet’s Farming Department growth by driving efficient and effective management of revenues, expenses, and accounting processes. The individual should also be able to manage a diverse group of staff with care and consideration. The successful applicant will work closely with the Farm Accounting Manager.  Duties & Responsibilities + General ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciling and periodic closings + Assist with monthly budgeting/forecasting + Various monthly reconciliations + Manage Farm Inventory accounts + Manage daily accounting processes and staff + Crosstrain with various accounting functions (A/P, A/R, Payroll, etc.) + Ensure accuracy and collaborate with the Bee Sweet Citrus Accounting Department to streamline processes Knowledge & Skills + Proficiency in Excel; the ability to e ffi ciently convert data into the information necessary for making educated management decisions + Ability to think and work independently, while also achieving team-oriented goals. + Attention to detail and well organized + Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Education & Work Experience Requirements/Preferences + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field + 3+ years of experience in accounting (some public accounting experience preferred) + 1+ years in cost accounting (preferred) + Management level experience (preferred) + Experience working in the agriculture industry (preferred) + Knowledge of “Famous” software (preferred) Pay Offered/Benefits + $75,000-$85,000 annual salary + Paid time off and sick leave + Industry-leading health, dental and vision insurance and health wellness program that covers regular doctor visits, eye exams, etc. with only a minor copay + 401(k) retirement with guaranteed matching contributions Powered by JazzHR
