Responsibilities: This person will provide all accounting functions of the Farm Supply Division to ensure accuracy and timeliness.  This includes the processing of all purchases and sales, budget preparation, reconciliation of inventories and general ledger accounts, and the monitoring of margins. All duties should be completed in accordance with company policy.

What You’ll Do

Assist with processing of all sales and purchase transactions Monitor timeliness and accuracy of processing times/turnaround of invoices  Monitor margins and adjust weighted average costs as needed Reconcile all General Ledger accounts monthly Make any necessary adjusting entries Prepare preliminary budget using historical data and current market intelligence Review with Department Head and make changes as necessary Submit final budget within the timeframe designated

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or 5 years accounting experience Strong accounting background Experience with inventory accounting preferred
