**Farm Technician - Full-Time, Permanent Position (40-50 hrs/per week)** **Taneytown, MD - $37,440-$45,760 per year with benefits.** **Are you ready to make a difference in bio-security and animal husbandry? Do you have strong mechanical knowledge?** **Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance and employee assistance program benefits.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Ensure adherence to the company's bio-security policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) + Facility maintenance, clean and disinfect all facilities per SOPs + Inspection and maintenance of all mechanical systems, feed, water, sewer, filtration systems, heat and air with support as needed + Performing building updates and structural modifications as needed + Assist with depopulation, manure removal, and the cleaning and re-assembling of equipment + Order and schedule deliveries of materials to meet project timelines and assist with feed delivery logistics **Qualifications:** + Ability to lift 50lbs and pass necessary physical tests. + Manufacturing maintenance, HVAC and auto repair experience is a plus. + A desire to acquire knowledge in plumbing, construction, and basic electrical work is a must. + Physically able to pass Pulmonary Function Test, Respirator Fit Test and Physical Pre-Placement Test. **_This is an immediate job opportunity.
