Fast Track Associate Trauma Specialist (Ann Arbor, MI)

Position Summary:

The Fast Track Associate Trauma Specialist is tasked with marketing and promoting Globus Medical products within the guidelines of the company’s quality policy and procedures. The sales goals and objectives assigned will be met and exceeded by having a full knowledge of Globus products, offerings, and surgical techniques, as well as understanding the customer needs and professionally positioning Globus Medical products above the competitions.

Essential Functions:

Meets or exceeds all sales goals and objectives assigned in assigned territoryGains and consistently increases product knowledge through formal sales training; surgeon speaker programs, attends surgeries or visits, and industry researchCommunicates new ideas promptly to product developmentAttends and participates in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directedDevelops thorough knowledge and understanding of all Globus Medical products and major competitors in all product areaRegularly provides feedback on topics such as product development opportunities, new target accounts, sales performance, and market feedbackDevelops relationships with key trauma surgeon customersMaintains Consignments and Loaner inventory, moves loaner sets between accounts as neededCreates and implements an annual business plan with quarterly updatesManages travel expenses within budgetAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies. Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

2+ years medical device sales or surgical related products experience and a Bachelor’s DegreeExperience within an operating roomAbility to travel as necessary, which may include nights and/or weekendsAbility to collaborate and influence; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong understanding of skeletal/orthopedic anatomyAbility to make sales presentations with positive resultsStrong computer skills – MS Office
