The Opportunity
Under the general management of the Security Manager, you will manage Security Department operations at the assigned site during their shift. You will identify and seek immediate and long-term solutions to life-safety issues.
You will report to Manager, Security and Incident Management.

Your Impact
You will support security goals as defined by management.
You will manage daily security operations at the assigned site during your shift to ensure compliance with established departmental and operational procedures.
You will circulate around site. You will resolve security and life-safety issues.
You will respond to emergencies (medical, fire, hazmat), direct team, protect employees, activates Incident Command System.
You will prioritize prevent and minimize product losses or fraud.
You will work with Manager to determine level of security required for special events.
You will implement a staffing schedule to ensure security coverage. Receive and approve TC-1 for all security employees.
You will keep the Manager informed about all incidents and related security matters.
You will implement and maintain a training program for newly hired security personnel.
You will inform employees of security procedures. Notify supervisors of employee infractions.
You will receive and reviews all incident reports from the assigned shift. Contact the appropriate supervisory personnel to follow up on incidents and determine outcomes. Inform Health and Safety Department of all accidents and health-related incidents. Summarize and refer security issues to management for further action.
You will conduct surveillance monitoring of different areas.
You will work with Human Resources and department management to coordinate employee terminations. May provide escorts out of the building in hostile situations.
You will coordinate emergency weather transports when business dictates and provide transports to essential personnel.
What You Bring
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, undergraduate degree in a related field.
Experience: 1 or more years of experience is required. At least 1-year previous supervisory experience in a similar working environment or a combination of seasonal developmental positions with other related experience is required.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
