FCRA Operations Testing and Remediation Specialist
Description As the FCRA Testing and Remediation Specialist,work within the FCRA Tradeline Testing and Remediation team as part of Consumer Operations. This role focuses on performing various remediation and monitoring tasks to drive credit reporting accuracy for Citizens and its customers. Although you will work within established procedures, you will be expected to drive continuous improvement activities and evidence problem solving skills to identify root cause challenges and create plans to address with support of the management team. Your goal is to ensure that account corrections are performed timely, accurately and completely to ensure a positive customer experience and to mitigate risk. You will be expected to encourage collaboration with colleagues and other teams to achieve these objectives, acting as an example for other team members to follow. Primary responsibilities include + Primary focus is on execution of account correction activities as defined by the FCRA Operations team. As well, this will is also responsible for monitoring and analysis of information furnished to the Consumer Reporting Agencies to support the initiatives owned by the FCRA operations team. + Exceed customer expectations, by doing the right thing, and working together to meet remediation timelines and established SLAs. Escalate issues promptly to management for proper mitigation. Suggest customer experience improvement opportunities as you identify them. Demonstrate ability and willingness to drive these to completion. + Thoroughly understand and comply with regulatory requirements that impact your work including state and federal laws. + Understand the importance of risk management and how it impacts your daily responsibilities. Be willing and able to explain all aspects of risk to other members of your team and support their learning and development. + Complete required Regulatory and HR compliance training each quarter by established deadlines. + Escalate risk issues to management immediately. + Display a professional and positive attitude at all times with all of your interactions, as measured by customer/stakeholder feedback and manager observations. + Work toward your PDP goals throughout the year and present evidence of progress to your manager. Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials + Minimum of 2 years of credit bureau reporting experience, + Experienced on FCRA and CDIA Metro 2 requirements/standards and/or Consumer Lending products, + Preferred e-Oscar experience, + Proficient knowledge with all federal and state regulatory requirements related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Data Furnishing, CFPB and other applicable credit reporting and dispute laws and requirements preferred, + Strong written/verbal communication skills, + Capability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines, + Excellent analytical abilities, + Strong ability to multi-task & and prioritize work effectively, + Solid knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel, + Bachelors degree preferred but will consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
