FDC-RFQ-25-024 - Job # 7440 Systems Administrator
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Tallahassee, Florida. The role involves overseeing and maintaining our computer systems, ensuring high levels of data availability and network performance. Responsibilities: • Administer the company's internal servers, network devices, and firewalls. • Review current systems and suggest updates or new systems as required. • Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration data and network topology information. • Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to understand system requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives and strategies. • Handle request for quotations (RFQs) and statements of work (SOWs) in a timely and efficient manner. • Monitor system performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future. • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration. Maintain backup or recovery systems. • Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. • Stay abreast of the latest developments in EO/IR systems and other relevant technologies. • Train people in computer system use. Requirements • Proficiency in reviewing and evaluating complex data and information • Experience in Loan Renewal Processes • Familiarity with Request For Quotation procedures • Ability to develop and understand Statement Of Work documents • Knowledge and experience in EO/IR systems • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • High level of attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively • Familiarity with security principles and best practices in system administration • Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and system administration.
