FDIC - Account Research and Remediation/Quality Control

Lead and/or actively participate in Retail FDIC initiatives, including review and research of data issues, performing operational maintenance on accounts, and creating/updating procedural content as well as completing other initiatives as assigned.Provides ongoing operational support to the Retail field and partners, to ensure timely and accurate completion of customer/account profile updates.Partnering with LOBs, Legal, Compliance and Operational Risk to enhance regulatory reporting processes.Work independently with minimal supervision from manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Perform in depth research by utilizing internal banking systems, as well as external systems to review and remediate FDIC data issues.Autonomously complete all reports and research tasks assigned to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting and the mitigation of operational risk.Develop rapport and communication with Compliance, Legal, Regulatory Reporting and LOB partners.Identify and escalate information as needed.Identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of policies, procedures and/or processes and make the appropriate recommendations to management.Perform associate training.Utilize strong understanding of Retail systems to be able to make suggestion for improvements that will increase business and/or keep Key regulatory compliance.  Effective communicator at various levelsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at a time Ability to resolve conflict and create win/win situations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Solid understanding of Retail operations, procedures, and technology Undergraduate degree or equivalent business experience Strong oral and written communication skillsAnalytical ability with proven organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate and foster teamwork.

​Equipment Used

Hogan (preferred), Standard PC skills, familiarity with email systems, spreadsheet applications and basic office equipment.  Ability to navigate intranet.


Job Location

Cleveland or Brooklyn, Ohio/Remote with ability to work mobile if needed

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $67,000 to $90,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
